In conjunction with a Russian accountancy firm, the CentreInvest Group has developed for two major Russian oil companies a computerised management accounting system that enables income statement and budget reconciliation to be executed at the operating level. The CentreInvest Group has been invited by Tatneft, a leading Russian oil company, to manage a project aimed at optimising the company's financial settlements system. For a project funded by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), CentreInvest provided technical assistance in developing, procuring, and implementing a Common Information System for the RF State Anti-Monopoly Committee head office and regional branches. The scope included developing and implementing customised software which enables the Committee to fully computerize document turnover on the basis of already existing packages; to develop information technology to create and maintain integrated statistical databases; to develop a set of tasks for analyzing consumer markets; and to monitor compliance with anti-monopoly consumer protection regulations on the basis of a standardised information management system.
